Are you a commercially astute Buying professional with a strong understanding of the Perishables market, ideally Dairy & Juice
Boxer Superstores is looking for an experienced National Buyer – Perishables to drive category growth, profitability, competitive pricing and strategic supplier partnerships across our retail footprint.
What we're looking for:
- Proven buying or commercial category experience within Food Retail, FMCG, Wholesale or the supplier/manufacturer environment.
- Strong knowledge of Perishables, preferably Dairy & Juice
- Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, pricing, margin management and promotional planning.
- Sound understanding of stock management, market trends and the ability to manage a category PNL.
- Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Ability to operate strategically in a fast-paced, highly competitive retail environment.
Supplier-side candidates with relevant category and commercial experience are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must currently reside in Durban or be willing to relocate to Durban if successful.
