Responsibilities
Provide imaging services to patients in line with established practice parameters and standards of care
Process, verify, and maintain patient information accurately
Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring readiness and accurate identification
Produce timely and accurate results following ultrasound SOPs and standards
Review test results for accuracy and consistency, correlating with patient conditions
Maintain records and filing systems for ultrasound information, equipment, and test results
Order and maintain department supplies, ensuring optimal resource utilization
Implement stock control procedures to ensure accountability
Conduct weekly and routine maintenance of ultrasound equipment
Adhere to safety and infection control policies at all times
Perform additional duties assigned by the Branch Manager in line with Penda Health services
Be flexible to conduct scans across various Penda Medical Centers
Uphold Penda’s Vision and Values in all dutiesKey Requirements & Attributes
Key Requirements & Attributes
Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography / Medical Imaging Sciences
Valid license to practice from the relevant regulatory or professional body
Minimum 3 years’ work experience as a Sonographer
Knowledge of relevant legislation and professional standards
