Product Expertise : Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the payment products available to merchants within the National Payments System . Sales Reporting & Forecasting : Accurately track sales activities, manage pipeline, and provide regular reports and forecasts to sales management. Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience and contribute to product enhancements based on market feedback. Achieve Sales Targets : Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance metrics. Qualifications Education : A suitable sales & marketing qualification in the financial services sector. Sales Skills : Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify leads, conduct compelling presentations, negotiate effectively, and close deals. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in other South African official languages is an advantage. Interpersonal Skills : Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels. Technical Aptitude : Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts related to payment processing and integrat ing them into business solutions.
