About the Role

  • The Partnership Manager will lead partnership development, resource mobilization, and stakeholder engagement, with a specific focus on securing institutional and individual donors.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development & Resource Mobilization:

  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with corporate organizations, foundations, development agencies, government institutions, and other stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective partners and donors.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners and donors.

  • Provide partners with timely updates, reports, and appropriate recognition.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in partnerships, resource mobilization, fundraising, or business development within the NGO/non-profit, international development, or social enterprise sector in Nigeria.
  • Proven track record of securing grants, corporate sponsorships, institutional funding, or strategic partnerships.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships.

Network & Sector Knowledge:

  • Established relationships within corporate Nigeria, particularly with CSR, ESG, sustainability, or corporate affairs stakeholders.
  • Strong network among international development organizations and funding partners such as USAID, FCDO, UNDP, and similar institutions.
  • Strong understanding of crowdfunding, mobile money integration, and co-investment models.
  • Experience working with government or public-sector institutions is an advantage.
