Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is a not-for-profit Children’s Hospital established in 1947. Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is the most established paediatric hospital in Eastern and Central Africa, providing healthcare to children in Kenya as well as those referred from neighbouring countries. The hospital attends to over 300,000 outpatients annually through a network of 15 facilities in and around Nairobi and admits over 9,000 patients annually at its 100-bed facility located at Muthaiga, Nairobi. Paediatric Critical Care Lecturer This role involves coordinating learning activities within the Paediatric PCCN program while providing theoretical and clinical instruction to help students master essential skills, it includes monitoring student performance to uphold instructional standards, developing and reviewing curriculum in line with Nursing Council requirements, and conducting theory and practical tests to evaluate assignments and overall performance The position also requires maintaining clinical copabilities through regular practice, taking ownership of one’s own professional development, and actively participating in quality programs, clinical audits, and research Qualifications, Experience and Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Higher Diploma in Paediatric Critical Care Nursing Certificate as a TVET trainer is an added advantage Certificate in EPALS/PALS wil be on added advantage Valid Nursing Council of Kenya Practise licence Nursing Council of Kenya Registration Certificate Must have a minimum of one (0 year working experience as a Tutor Certificate of good conduct Don't Keep Share!: WhatsApp Tweet
