Take overall responsibility for security operations across the onshore field and surrounding facilities.
Develop, implement, maintain, and exercise the OML58 Security Plan in line with the Company Security Plan.
Conduct regular security inspections and patrols across OWAZA, GRA, wellhead locations, and other designated sites.
Coordinate and monitor Government Security Forces (GSF) and contractor security personnel.
Control access to the GRA and surrounding facilities and oversee personnel and vehicle checks.
Conduct security inductions for GSF, employees, contractors, and visitors.
Vet personnel requiring access badges.
Gather, collate, and disseminate security intelligence and information.
Investigate security incidents and prepare accurate investigation reports.
Monitor, test, and ensure proper maintenance of surveillance, intrusion-detection, and other security equipment.
Ensure security personnel understand and comply with established security procedures.
Maintain accurate records and promptly report security incidents and threats to relevant authorities.
Monitor ROW activities, particularly during night and early-morning periods, and report abnormalities.
Prepare daily site activity reports covering Owaza, KP38, and Rumuji nodes.
Monitor site power generation status and report power transitions, equipment failures, and other operational anomalies.
Conduct routine checks on site equipment, utilities, lighting, and other critical infrastructure.
Supervise site maintenance workers and escalate security, equipment, and operational emergencies promptly.
Attend security meetings and perform other duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
Previous experience in industrial security, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
Military or Police background is required/preferred.
Proven experience coordinating security personnel and Government Security Forces.
Good knowledge of security operations, access control, surveillance, investigations, and incident reporting.
Strong leadership and personnel-management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-risk and volatile environment.
Willingness and ability to work on a rotational schedule and move between operational sites.
