Orthopeadic Trauma Technologist Iii Interns - 2 Posts At Muranga County Government

Duties and responsibilities: -

• Interpreting radiology images of orthopedic and trauma cases;
• Manipulating and reducing fractures and dislocations;
• Fixing and removing casts, bandages and tractions to and frompatients;
• Counselling patients/clients on issues regarding orthopedic trauma;
• Correcting Congenital Talipes Equino-Varus (C.T.E.V);
• Documenting orthopedic and trauma case
• Assessing and referring patients with Musculo-skeletal conditions
• Participating in the management of minor orthopedic and trauma cases in emergenciesandaccidents;
• Cleaning and treating simple wounds resulting from orthopedic trauma;
• Making follow-ups of orthopedic and trauma cases in the wards and out-patient clinics.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Orthopedic Plaster Technology or Orthopedic and Trauma medicine fromarecognized institution
• Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
• Registration by a professional body
• Valid practicing license
