Key Responsibilities Interpret and accurately dispense spectacle prescriptions issued by ophthalmologists and optometrists. Assist patients in selecting appropriate frames and lenses based on their prescriptions, visual needs, and preferences. Take precise optical measurements, including pupillary distance and fitting heights. Fit, adjust, repair, and maintain spectacles and other optical devices. Educate patients on the proper use, care, and maintenance of prescribed eyewear. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies. Monitor and manage inventory of optical products and supplies. Ensure compliance with infection prevention, quality assurance, and patient safety standards.
