About the Programme

• City Eye Hospital invites applications from motivated individuals who would like to develop the knowledge. practical skills and professional behaviours required to support safe, efficient and compassionate ophthalmic care. The programme combines structured instruction, supervised practical training and rotations across the Hospital.
• Trainees will be expected to respect patients, protect confidentiality, act with integrity and demonstrate professional discipline throughout the programme.

Minimum Educational Requirements

• KCSE mean grade of D+ (Plus) or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum grade of C (Plain) in English or Kiswahili.
• Minimum grade of C-(Minus) in Biology or Biological Sciences.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Kiswahili.
• Basic numeracy skills, which will be assessed during selection.
• Basic computer literacy.
• At least 18 years old by the programme commencement date.
