Operations Manager - Manufacturing / Fmcg At Pivotage Consulting

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the coordination of manufacturing operations, plant readiness, and project execution for a leading Manufacturing/FMCG company.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the transition from project execution to plant operations.
• Support plant readiness across production, maintenance, HSE, quality, and staffing.
• Coordinate OEMs, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Track engineering, procurement, equipment installation, and project milestones.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and critical spares.
• Develop and maintain operational/project trackers, reports, KPIs, and action plans.
• Support the development and implementation of SOPs, processes, and operational systems.
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Legal, Engineering, HSE, Procurement, and other teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 7 - 12 years of relevant experience** in manufacturing operations, plant operations, engineering/project execution, industrial operations, or related environments.
• Strong experience in **Manufacturing/FMCG or Agro-processing** is highly preferred.
• Strong project execution, stakeholder management, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing contractors, OEMs, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong KPI/performance monitoring and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver against aggressive timelines.
