Job Title: Operations Coordinator (Male) Location: Isolo, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Logistics Working Days: Monday – Saturday Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary
The successful candidate will oversee daily operational activities, coordinate cargo movement, supervise operational staff, and ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily logistics and cargo operations, including the loading, unloading, and movement of air and sea freight.
Oversee operational activities to ensure smooth workflows, timely delivery, and efficient resource utilisation.
Supervise and coordinate terminal staff, ensuring tasks are properly assigned and executed.
Liaise with shipping lines, freight partners, logistics providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
Monitor compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Identify operational challenges, resolve issues promptly, and recommend process improvements.
Support the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain accurate operational records, documentation, and performance reports.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure safety and functionality.
Requirements
2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, freight, terminal operations, or a related field.
Minimum of HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
Proven experience supervising staff and coordinating cargo or logistics operations.
Strong knowledge of operational procedures, reporting, documentation, and compliance.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and work effectively under pressure.
Familiarity with ERP systems and Google Workspace is an added advantage.
Professional certifications in logistics or shipping will be an added advantage.

Salary: N130,000 Net Monthly
