Onsite Social Media Content Creator At Smart Energies (formaly - Smart Gas Ng)

What You Will Do

• Onsite Field Coverage: Capture high-quality photos and videos during LPG cylinder distribution across the 6 Badagry wards.
• Short-Form Video Production: Create engaging TikToks, Instagram Reels, and Shorts documenting beneficiary stories, retailer onboarding, and safety demonstrations.
• Community & Event Storytelling: Cover community sensitization, local government engagements, and field operations in real-time.
• Equipment & Media Management: Operate smartphone equipment, dedicated wireless microphones, and media gear effectively.
• Social Media Management: Draft compelling captions, schedule daily/weekly posts, and track audience engagement across SmartEnergies channels.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the Onsite Project Coordinator to upload media assets promptly.

What We Are Looking For

• Onsite Availability: Must be based in or willing to stay/work onsite in Badagry for the duration of the pilot project.
• Content Creation Skills: Proven experience in smartphone photography, mobile video editing (CapCut, Canva, Premiere, etc.), and storytelling.
• Social Media Savvy: Strong understanding of trends, hashtags, and engagement tactics for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Communication & Interview Skills: Confident and friendly when interviewing community members, retailers, and beneficiaries in English, Yoruba, or Egun.
• Reliability & Initiative: Self-motivated, punctual, organized, and capable of working active field hours across multiple locations.
• Portfolio / Past Work: A portfolio or links to active social media pages showing video editing and content creation work.
