Job Summary
We are seeking a bright, analytical, and technically inclined Electrical Engineering graduate or related field currently undertaking or eligible for the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) Programme
The ideal candidate must have a sound academic background in Electrical Engineering or related field, with relevant coursework or practical knowledge in Computer Architecture and Programming.
We are looking fora candidate who is eager to learn, capable of applying engineering principles to practical challenges and interested in gaining practical industry experience, contributing to technical projects, and developing professionally in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with electrical engineering projects, technical assessments, and troubleshooting activities.
Assist in identifying technical faults and implementing appropriate solutions.
Assist with computer hardware configuration, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Support basic system set up, testing and maintenance.
Apply basic programming knowledge to technical tasks, automation, and problem-solving activities.
Prepare reports, presentations, and technical documentation as required.
Work with relevant programming languages and development tools, such as Python, C/C++, Java, or other applicable technologies.
Carry out other technical and administrative duties relevant to the role as assigned.
Educational Qualifications and Requirements Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognised and reputable university.
Minimum of Second Class Lower Division (2:2).
Must have undertaken coursework or demonstrated knowledge in Computer Architecture and Programming.
Must be an eligible NYSC corps member available for the required service period.
Experience Requirements:
0 - 2 years of relevant experience
Previous internship, industrial training, technical project or entry-level work experience will be an advantage.
Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, computer architecture, and basic programming concepts.
Practical knowledge of Python, C, C++, Java, or similar programming languages.
Required Skills and competencies:
Excellent skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Display a strong eagerness to acquire new skills and dedication to achieving excellence.
Candidates must successfully complete the interview/assessment stages.
Candidate must reside in Lagos.
