Responsibilities
Establish effective project management mechanisms with HQ and regional offices.
Ensure program data is up to date, quality assured and available to leadership.Grant Management
Ensure grants have clear annual plans, budgets and timely implementation.
Deliver donor, technical and financial reports to required standards.
Monitor projects to meet performance targets and take corrective action.
Manage overall programmatic budget.CrossUnit Coordination & Representation
Provide capacity building on project cycle management.
Collaborate with Corporate Services to improve processes and tools.
Represent Nutrition International at partner meetings and forums.Resource Mobilization
Support development of project proposals.RequirementsEducation & Experience
Requirements
Master’s degree in relevant field or significant experience in lieu.
7+ years managing large, complex development programs across Asia/Africa.
Experience in public health/nutrition sector and health systems.
Experience in maternal and newborn health and nutrition programming highly valued.
Experience in proposal writing, donor stewardship (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});and external representation.
Grant management experience; PMP certification an asset.
Strong Excel skills and ability to manage complex data.
Experience in matrixed team structures.Skills
Strong risk identification and mitigation ability.
Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills.
Understanding of resultsbased management and program monitoring.
Experience in project startup processes.
Knowledge of child safeguarding principles.
