The Network Administrator is responsible for the availability, performance, capacity and integrity of Gertrude's hospitalwide network, covering local and wide area networks, internet, wireless services, and inter-site links, IP telephony, and connectivity to cloud and partner-hosted systems.
- The role ensures that clinical and enterprise systems remain accessible around the clock across all facilities, implements and operates the network security controls defined with the Cyber Security team, and provides the network foundation for new clinical, biomedical and loT technologies.
- The Network Administrator works closely with ICT team, clinical departments, service providers and vendors to deliver a resilient, well documented and scalable network that supports safe, high quality care delivery.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- At least 3 years' experience as a Network Administrator.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Fortinet NSE
- Network Security Professional) or an equivalent industry recognized networking certification.
