Develop and execute the national go-to-market and sales strategy, including pricing, market positioning, launch plans, and priority markets.
Build and manage the national sales structure, including Regional Sales Managers, Area Managers, Promoters and other field sales personnel.
Establish and expand a nationwide network of distributors, dealers and retailers across key states and commercial markets.
Set and drive regional, territory and individual sales, collection and customer acquisition targets.
Drive brand awareness and market penetration among contractors, painters, applicators, architects, developers and end users.
Develop and manage relationships with major construction companies, contractors, developers, architects, consultants and procurement organizations.
Identify and convert institutional, project and tender opportunities into profitable business.
Develop and implement market activation initiatives, including dealer promotions, product demonstrations, trade events and digital campaigns.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and recommend new products or market initiatives.
Ensure effective management of sales collections, receivables and credit exposure across the national network.
Work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing teams to ensure product availability and efficient inventory management.
Establish strong customer and channel-partner relationships and resolve escalated commercial issues.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, distribution growth, market development, project pipeline, collections and competitor intelligence.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
12 - 15+ years of experience in sales/commercial leadership.
Significant experience in paints, coatings, construction chemicals, building materials or related industries.
At least 5 years in a national or senior regional sales leadership role.
Proven experience building or significantly growing a sales operation, distribution network or brand in Nigeria.
Strong experience in institutional/project sales, tender management and specification selling.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and lead high-performing sales teams.
Strong commercial, negotiation, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
Good understanding of the Nigerian market, distribution channels and competitive landscape.
Experience with marketing, brand activation and digital marketing will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of sales forecasting, inventory planning and receivables management.
