The National Sales Head will design, execute, and oversee the company's commercial strategy across all regions in Nigeria.
This role focuses on expanding market share in electrical cables (low, medium, and high voltage) by driving B2B partnerships, institutional sales, distributor networks, and major project pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth: Develop and execute an aggressive national sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, volume growth, and market penetration for various product lines (armored, non-armored, copper, and aluminum cables).
Key Account Management: Directly manage relationships with tier-1 distributors, major electrical merchants, real estate developers, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors, and government parastatals (e.g., DisCos, TCN).
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and track the performance of Regional Sales Managers across the North, West, and East regions.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing, product offerings, and market trends to advise executive management on competitive positioning.
Credit & Debt Management: Enforce robust debt collection policies across the distribution network to maintain healthy corporate cash flow.
Key Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. An MBA is an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years in industrial sales, with at least 3-5 years specifically in the cable manufacturing or building materials industry.
Competencies: Proven track record of managing a nationwide distribution network; strong negotiation and relationship-building skills; advanced data analysis and forecasting capabilities.
