The Locum Nurse will provide quality nursing care, support clinical operations and ensure patients receive safe, timely and professional healthcare services in line with established clinical standards.Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, monitoring, treatment and documentation.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established clinical protocols.
Monitor patients' conditions, identify changes and promptly escalate concerns to the attending clinician.
Assist doctors during consultations, procedures and other clinical interventions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and nursing documentation.
Ensure infection prevention and control measures are consistently observed.
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medication use and general health practices.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized clinical environment while ensuring proper use of medical equipment and supplies.Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and possess a valid practicing licence.
Must hold valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Minimum two (2) to three (3) years of nursing experience.
Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
