Mine Surveyor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct topographical, pit, stockpile, and volumetric surveys.
• Set out pit boundaries, benches, ramps, and excavation limits.
• Measure ore and waste quantities and verify mining activities against approved designs.
• Provide survey data for mine planning and production reconciliation.
• Prepare survey plans, reports, and volume calculations.
• Monitor pit geometry and maintain accurate survey records.

REQUIREMENTS

• B.Sc./HND in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of mine-surveying experience.
• Proficiency in Total Stations, GNSS/GPS, and digital surveying equipment.
• Working knowledge of Surpac, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Deswik, or equivalent software.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Professional licence where applicable. Drone/UAV surveying experience is an added advantage.
