Mixx is hiring: MFS Quality Assurance Engineer (2 positions) Location: Dar es Salaam Qualifications and experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. ISTQB Foundation Level or above; Agile Testing or Scrum certification is an added advantage. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing, including test planning, defect management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Core responsibilities Analyze requirements and prepare test plans. Design and execute test cases and scripts. Test MFS functionality and customer journeys. Validate APIs and system integrations. Verify transaction accuracy and data integrity. Develop automated tests and perform regression testing. Test system performance and scalability. Assess system resilience and recovery capabilities. Verify security controls and compliance requirements. Track defects and verify corrective actions. Conduct quality checks before system releases. Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues.
