Job Title: Merchant Officer

About the role
The Merchant Officer will drive field acquisition and activation of merchants within an assigned territory, with a focus on supermarkets and other qualifying ethical businesses.
Key responsibilities
Identify and onboard qualified merchants within the assigned territory
Complete KYC and all required documentation
Deploy and activate point-of-sale terminals
Drive merchant transaction usage and monitor merchant activity
Support merchant account opening
Requirements
HND or B.Sc.
Willingness to work in the field daily and meet targets
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Experience in sales, merchant acquisition, POS/fintech, or banking is an advantage.
