Medical Practice Manager
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 08:00-17:00
Friday: 08:00-16:30
One Saturday per month: 08:00-12:00
Role Overview
An experienced Practice Manager is required to oversee the daily operations of a medical practice. The successful candidate will manage a team of approximately 15-20 employees, maintain high standards of patient care and ensure the practice operates efficiently.Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the practice's digital diary and appointment scheduling.
Lead and manage a staff complement of 15-20 employees.
Oversee building, equipment, stock and quality control.
Monitor daily operations to ensure excellent patient care.
Conduct weekly team meetings and track performance against targets and goals.
Develop, coordinate and implement marketing initiatives to grow the practice's patient base.
Oversee all administrative functions.
Identify operational challenges and proactively implement practical solutions.
Liaise with medical aids regarding benefits, authorisations and payments.
Minimum Requirements
At least five years' experience in medical practice management.
Proven ability to manage a team of approximately 20 employees.
Matric.
Additional relevant qualifications will be advantageous.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English, both written and verbal.
Computer literacy, including MS Office and financial software.
Experience dealing with medical aids, benefits, authorisations and payments.
Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence.
Clear criminal record.
