To provide clinical care in family medicine under supervision, assessing and managing patients across out-patient and in-patient settings, and supporting the safe and effective running of the family medicine service.
- Assess, diagnose and manage patients in family medicine under supervision, appropriate to the level of the role, escalating appropriately.
- Participate in clinics, ward rounds, on-call rotas and procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and current MDCN registration/licence in line with internal clinical policy.
- Work effectively within the multidisciplinary team, coordinating care with other services and supporting managed-care/HMO processes through evidence-based, cost-effective practice.

- Minimum of 2 years of post-NYSC clinical experience; newly qualified medical officers with a valid licence may be considered. Post-registration clinical experience as a medical practitioner, including completion of housemanship. Clinical exposure relevant to family medicine, with the ability to manage common presentations under supervision.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognised institution.
