What to Expect
Receive and accurately log patient specimens into the laboratory information system.
Verify patient information, specimen labeling, and accompanying documentation.
Prepare and process specimens for laboratory analysis according to established protocols.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and tracking of samples to maintain integrity.
Collaborate closely with laboratory scientists, phlebotomists, and other healthcare staff.

Requirements
Essential education, experience and skills:
Minimum of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Previous experience in a laboratory setting or specimen accessioning is mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
