Medical Laboratory Assistant / Technician At 1501 Lab And Diagnostic Centre

Location: Ilesa, Osun State

Salary: 80,000 monthly

Requirements

• Bsc, HND or OND in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Valid registration and practising licence with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), as applicable.
• Minimum of 1 - 2 years relevant professional experience.
• Good knowledge of routine laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to handle and process specimens appropriately.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with other laboratory and healthcare staff.
• Commitment to professional standards, confidentiality and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label and process patient specimens appropriately.
• Perform assigned laboratory procedures within the scope of practice.
• Assist with routine laboratory investigations.
• Maintain accurate patient and laboratory records.
• Assist with quality control procedures.
• Operate and care for laboratory equipment appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laboratory work area.
• Adhere strictly to laboratory safety, infection control and confidentiality protocols.
• Report equipment issues or other concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
