Medical Engineering Technician Iii At Nyamira County Public Service Board

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

• Have a Certificate in Medical Engineering or related qualifications from Kenya
• Medical Training College (KMTC) or any other recognized institution.
• Holder of Kenya certificate of secondary Education grade C- (minus)
• Be registered and licensed with the Kenya Health Professionals Oversight Authority.
• Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determine specification of medical equipment to be procured
• Determine the equipment needs in the facilities
• Assist in procuring medical equipment and installation
• Safeguarding and maintaining medical equipment
• Assist in obtaining spare parts servicing medical equipment in the facilities
• Any other Health duties as may be assigned from to time
