Carry out routine inspection, lubrication, cleaning, adjustment, and servicing of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Assist in Equipment Installation and Commissioning:
Support the installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning of pumps, compressors, conveyors, motors, valves, gearboxes, and other plant equipment.
Troubleshoot Mechanical Faults:
Identify basic mechanical problems, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and assist senior technicians in implementing corrective actions.
Execute Repair and Replacement Activities:
Repair or replace defective mechanical components such as bearings, seals, belts, couplings, gaskets, and fasteners according to maintenance procedures.
Comply with Safety and Quality Standards:
Adhere strictly to HSE policies, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, permit-to-work systems, and workplace safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
Maintain Maintenance Records and Reports:
Accurately document inspections, repairs, spare parts usage, equipment downtime, and maintenance activities in maintenance management systems and logbooks.
Support Continuous Plant Reliability and Improvement:
Participate in equipment condition monitoring, housekeeping, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing plant reliability and productivity.
