We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to handle routine mechanical maintenance, minimize plant downtime, and ensure equipment reliability while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to routine mechanical problems and ensure spare assemblies are readily available.
Coordinate with section in-charges, provide daily feedback, and participate in daily meetings.
Drive downtime reduction and conduct Why-Why Analysis to identify the root causes of equipment failures.
Promote quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across plant operations.
Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS), including audits, assessments, and employee training.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations while identifying improvements to enhance plant safety and environmental performance.
Requirements
Candidates should possess an SSCE, Trade Test, OND, HND or B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in mechanical fitting or industrial maintenance.
Relevant technical or academic qualification.
Strong troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of plant safety, environmental standards, and IMS requirements.
Ability to work effectively with teams and minimize equipment downtime.
