ROLE SUMMARY

To ensure preventive maintenance activities of equipment are carried out as per schedule and to support the maintenance, calibration and qualification of engineering equipment and systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure preventive maintenance activities of equipment as per schedule and ensure highest efficiency is maintained during running equipment.
• Maintenance of rotary & static equipment's and pumps.
• Maintenance of vacuum system
• To inspect specifications for engineering consumables. To standardize equipment operating procedures and provide necessary training.
• To maintain major equipment records, to ensure all instruments are calibrated, recorded and calibration status id indicated.
• To maintain safety measures.
• To implement yearly and monthly maintenance schedule with concerned department & ensure its implementation.
• To update/verify maintenance records, registers, logbooks etc.
• Qualification and calibration of equipment's
• Periodic requalification of HVAC System
• Calibration of instruments & Equipment's.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• B.Eng./HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-8 years of mechanical engineering and maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, or process manufacturing environment.
