Job Position: Mechanical Engineer

- The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all mechanical, electrical, and automated systems across farm and processing operations.
- This role ensures maximum equipment availability, reliability, safety, and operational efficiency while minimizing unplanned downtime and production costs.
- Oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of the plant’s equipment to ensure continuous operations.
- Provide technical support ensuring that scheduled routine and turnaround maintenance programs are complied with.
- Set up operating and quality standards and ensure implementation.
- Determine necessary resources (workforce, inventory, parts, etc.) required
- Enforce health and safety precautions
- Provide leadership for the team.
Requirements and Qualifications
- HND/B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a related industry.
- Robust experience in Soya Oil Processing and Refining
- Ability to work independently
