Meat Market Manager - Boitekong

Key Responsibilities:

• Butchery Operations Manage the day-to-day operation of the Meat Market.
• Perform and supervise meat cutting, portioning, processing, and wors production.
• Ensure products meet company quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain product availability and freshness at all times.
• Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained correctly.
• Financial and Stock Management Achieve sales, GP%, waste, shrinkage, and profitability targets.
• Control stock ordering, receiving, storage, and stock rotation.
• Monitor and reduce waste, damages, and stock losses.
• Conduct stock counts and investigate variances.
• Food Safety and Compliance Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
• Maintain high housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure employees wear the correct PPE and follow safe working practices.
• Team Leadership Lead, motivate, and manage the Meat Market team.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance.
• Train and develop employees in both butchery and operational standards.
• Address performance and disciplinary matters where required.
• Customer Service Deliver excellent customer service and product knowledge.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensure a positive shopping experience through quality products and service excellence.
