Meal Officer (monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability And Learning)

Location: Maiduguri with visit to 30-40% Kala Balge

Reports to: National Coordinator

Job Purpose

The MEAL Officer will be responsible for monitoring project performance, ensuring data quality, promoting accountability to affected populations, and facilitating learning processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project monitoring plans.
• Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
• Conduct routine monitoring, assessments, and post-distribution monitoring.
• Maintain project databases and indicator tracking systems.
• Ensure data quality assurance throughout project implementation.
• Manage beneficiary feedback and complaints mechanisms.
• Support learning and knowledge management initiatives.
• Prepare periodic MEAL reports and performance analyses.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor\'s degree in Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Sciences, Information Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years\' experience in monitoring and evaluation.
• Experience with KoboToolbox, ODK, Excel, Power BI, SPSS, or similar applications.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
