Main Duties
Prepare examination rooms and radiology equipment for patient procedures.
Perform X-rays and other radiological examinations as prescribed by a medical practitioner.
Assist radiologists in conducting specialized examinations such as barium meal studies.
Process radiographic images, maintain documentation, and ensure timely dispatch of results.
Ensure examinations are performed in accordance with established procedure protocols, patient conditions, physical abilities, and age-specific requirements.
Maintain an accurate radiological register of patients.
Maintain and update the department's consumables register.
Participate in the planning and execution of departmental Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.
Provide image intensifier services as required.
Provide radiographic services within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath-Lab).Required Qualifications for the Position
Required Qualifications for the Position
Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Radiography.
One (1) to three (3) years of relevant working experience.
Registered and licensed by the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority (KNRA).
Registered and up-to-date member of the Society of Radiography Kenya (SORK).
