Job Objective:
The client is looking to hire a commercially minded Media Buying Sales Executive / Manager who can combine strong sales ability with a solid understanding of performance marketing and digital advertising.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities, developing relationships with prospective and existing clients, growing media spend, and helping clients understand the value of performance marketing in achieving their customer acquisition and business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, prospect, and secure new clients with a strong need for performance marketing and customer acquisition.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline of potential advertisers.
Conduct outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, calls, networking, and other relevant channels.
Respond to inbound leads and convert qualified prospects into active clients.
Lead discovery calls, presentations, commercial discussions, and client negotiations.
Develop compelling proposals and media buying solutions based on clients' objectives and budgets.
Negotiate commercials, budgets, payment terms, and campaign structures.
Drive prospects through the sales funnel from initial contact to signed agreement, funded account, and campaign launch.
Sell the company's media buying capabilities across relevant digital advertising platforms.
Understand and communicate key performance metrics including CPA, CPI, CPC, CPM, CTR, CVR, ROAS, customer acquisition cost, registrations, FTDs, and deposits.
Translate technical media buying concepts into clear business outcomes for clients.
Identify opportunities to increase media spend among existing clients and develop account growth plans.
Recommend additional campaigns, markets, products, platforms, and acquisition objectives where appropriate.
Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and ensure effective client communication and expectation management.
Participate in client reviews and business performance meetings.
Maintain accurate sales pipeline records and provide regular sales forecasts and updates.
Track expected and actual monthly and quarterly media spend from new and existing clients.
Identify new markets, industries, and advertiser categories with significant digital acquisition budgets.
Research and develop prospects across sectors such as gaming, fintech, e-commerce, FMCG, entertainment, mobile apps, and other performance-driven businesses.
Work with the internal media buying and technical teams to ensure smooth client onboarding, campaign setup, integrations, and launch.
Coordinate required documentation, account creation, payment, tracking information, and campaign requirements.
Ensure a clear handover from sales to the media buying team while remaining involved in the client relationship after campaign launch.
Key Requirements:
3 - 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, media buying, performance marketing, advertising sales, or business development.
Demonstrable experience selling advertising or digital marketing services.
Strong understanding of digital advertising and performance marketing.
Good understanding of acquisition and performance metrics such as CPA, CPC, CPM, CTR, conversion rate, and ROAS.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
Ability to confidently engage with Marketing Managers, Business Owners, CMOs, Growth Teams, and other senior decision-makers.
Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to work towards sales and revenue targets.
Excellent follow-up and client relationship management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, Programmatic/RTB advertising, Affiliate/Performance Marketing, or Mobile/App Acquisition will be an advantage.
Experience within sectors such as Gaming/Betting, Fintech, E-commerce, FMCG, or international markets is an added advantage.
Existing relationships with advertisers, agencies, marketing directors, growth managers, or media buyers will be a significant advantage.
