Job Title: Marketing and Sales Officer

Job Summary
An opportunity to drive commercial growth and raw material sourcing for recycled PET products on a part-time basis in Lagos.
The role involves identifying and securing buyers for recycled products, developing supplier networks for feedstock, and managing key sales administration functions.
Responsibilities
Identify and approach manufacturers that use recycled PET flakes, including plastic product manufacturers and fibre producers where product specifications are suitable
Develop and maintain a database of local and international buyers
Obtain customer specifications, samples, quotations and purchase requirements
Negotiate prices, payment terms, minimum order quantities and delivery arrangements
Follow up on enquiries and convert prospective customers into regular buyers
Maintain customer relationships and resolve sales-related complaints
Monitor competitor prices, market demand and opportunities for new products
Identify waste collectors, aggregators, recycling centres and other PET bottle suppliers
Negotiate supply prices, volumes, quality requirements and delivery schedules to ensure continuous factory production
Monitor market prices for loose and baled PET bottles
Coordinate with the Factory Supervisor to ensure purchased material meets factory requirements
Prepare weekly sales pipelines, monthly sales reports, forecasts and recommended pricing strategies
Maintain records of customer enquiries, quotations, orders and payments, and follow up on overdue invoices
Coordinate customer orders and dispatches with factory personnel
Qualifications
HND or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Supply Chain Management or a related field
Essential experience:
Minimum two years of directly relevant Marketing & Sales experience.
Good negotiation, communication, customer relationship and presentation skills
Ability to prepare quotations, sales reports, customer proposals and market research
Competence in Microsoft Excel, email and digital marketing tools
Willingness to travel to customers, suppliers and industrial markets when required
Preferred experience:
Experience selling industrial raw materials, plastics, recycled materials or manufacturing products
Salary N200,000 per month.
