Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Degree in Business Administration or Marketing at NQF Level 7
• 8 years' experience.
• A valid driver's license is essential; and
• Computer literacy with all office applications.
• CPMD certificate will be an added advantage.

Key Performance Areas (Include but not limited to)

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for SMME and Cooperative Government by developing, implementing, and monitoring short-, medium- and long-term plans, performance frameworks, and control measures that support enterprise development, investment promotion, and Local Economic Development (LED) objectives.
• Provide effective leadership and management of human resources within the Enterprise and Investment function to ensure optimal employee performance, productivity, accountability and service delivery.
• Ensure effective financial governance, budget control, expenditure management, procurement planning, and risk mitigation within the Division through the implementation of sound and financial controls and regulatory compliance process.
• Develop, implement and monitor policies, procedures, projects and budget supports Enterprise and investment initiatives.
• Coordinate, facilitate and monitor SMME and cooperative development initiatives.
• Facilitate effective stakeholder communication, engagement and information management by promoting awareness of economic development initiatives.
• Ensure effective oversight of the Business Licensing Section to maximize revenue generation through efficient licensing processes while maintaining full compliance with applicable legislation, policies and regulatory requirements.
