Earned PhD degree or equivalent from an accredited and recognized University.
Registration with the relevant professional body (where applicable).OR (Special Cases/Disciplines)
Master’s degree in Engineering, Medicine, Nursing, or Public Health from an accredited and recognized University plus at least three (3) years of teaching experience at University level or in research/industry.
Minimum of 24 research and publication points, of which 16 should be in refereed journals, or one (1) postsecondary school book, or four (4) book chapters in relevant fields.

Develop teaching materials, teach, and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Set, moderate, and mark examinations.
Supervise student projects, dissertations, and theses.
Participate in development and preparation of annual faculty plans.
Contribute to development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Initiate and participate in research projects.
Provide professional and community services.
Initiate linkages with industry players.
Organize academic trips and supervise educational activities.
Assess industrial attachments for students.
Attend and participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences.
Participate in planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of curricula.
Conduct research and provide consultancy services.
Participate in departmental committees and faculty management activities.
