Job Summary

  • We are looking for a responsible and reliable Lift Operator to operate and monitor the lift safely and efficiently.
  • The successful candidate will assist passengers, ensure proper lift operation, and report any faults or safety concerns promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the lift safely and efficiently.
  • Assist passengers when entering and exiting the lift.
  • Ensure the lift is kept clean and presentable.
  • Monitor the lift for any unusual sounds, faults, or operational issues.
  • Report breakdowns, faults, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
  • Ensure passengers comply with lift safety rules.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with passengers.
  • Keep simple records of lift usage or reported issues when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Lift Operator, Elevator Operator, or in a similar role is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be attentive, responsible, and safety-conscious.
  • Ability to remain calm and helpful when assisting passengers.
  • Must be physically fit and able to work flexible hours when required.
