Lecturer Tax And Accounting

STADIO (Pty) Ltd is inviting applications for the position of: Lecturer –Tax and Accounting Assumption date 01 January 2027 Key roles and responsibilities: Lecture tax, financial reporting, data and decision-making, statistics and risk management modules at undergraduate level.Integrate relevant digital tools into teaching and learning.Use the learning management system (LMS).Mark and moderate assessments and examinations.Perform academic administration and other delegated duties.Provide academic support to students.Participate in research and scholarly activities.Minimum requirement: A minimum of two years' lecturing experience in higher education.A minimum of five years working experience in finance or tax practice.Sound knowledge of accounting theory and practice.Knowledge of statistics and data analytics, with the ability to apply these areas in accounting/commerce education.Experience in assessment, moderation and academic administration.Good knowledge of an LMS, such as Canvas, as an online teaching and learning tool.Evidence of, or potential for, research and scholarly activity.Qualification: A minimum of an honours degree in accounting or a closely related field at NQF level 8.A relevant professional designation or membership with SAIT, CIBA, SAIPA, ACCA, or SAICA
