Minimum Requirements

• An appropriate 4-year BSc degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years appropriate experience; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.
• NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

Key Performance Areas

• Prepare lesson plans and present practical, theoretical and/or short courses; Renewal and development of course material and study guides; Assessment of students through compilation of question papers and memorandums for examination; Administrative responsibilities; Keep abreast of applicable prescripts, policies, procedures, technologies and new developments in the subject field.

Competencies

Proven knowledge of the following:

• Agronomy Production and pasture management; Vegetable crops produced and alternative crops produced in the Western Cape; Presentation; Verbal and Written communication skills; Computer literacy; Leadership, Planning and Organising skills; Formal training and presentation.

Remuneration

• R 413 001 - R 486 501 per annum (Salary level 8)
