• R586 332 - R730 497 p.a. (excluding benefits)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 plus National Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Local Economic Development, Development Studies, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Tourism Management, Business Management, Public Management, Stakeholder Management or relevant qualification (NQF 6/7. 3-5 years relevant experience in Local Economic Development, Tourism, Agriculture, Enterprise Development, and Investment Promotion or related. Experience in Municipal LED programmes will be an added advantage. Experience in Project Coordinator and Stakeholder Management will be an added advantage. Computer Literate, Valid Code B drivers License.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Coordinate the implementation of Municipal Tourism Development Programmes and Projects. Identify and promote tourism investment and development opportunities. Establish partnerships with tourism associations and other stakeholders. Identify agriculture development and investment opportunities. Support emerging Farmers, Agricultural cooperatives, Small Scale producer and Agribusiness. Facilitate training and development, technical support, funding and marketing
