Lead Civil & Structural Assurance Consultant At Independent Project Monitoring Company Limited (ipmc)

Key focus areas:

• Civil and structural construction assurance
• Foundations, piling and reinforced concrete works
• Structural steelwork and industrial structures
• Earthworks, roads, drainage and underground infrastructure
• Construction QA/QC and technical inspections
• Contractor progress verification and certification
• Non-conformance identification and close-out

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in the relevant engineering, Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant post-qualification experience, including experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Significant experience on industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, fertilizer, power, manufacturing, or major infrastructure projects.
• Relevant professional registration or chartered status, such as COREN, CEng, PE, MRICS, FRICS, NIQS, RQS, or equivalent, as applicable to the discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical, engineering, quantity surveying, cost, commercial, or assurance teams.
• Experience in EPC/EPCM, Owner's Engineer, Third-Party Inspection, Project Assurance, Construction Supervision, Technical Audit, or Cost/Commercial Assurance environments.
• Strong understanding of contractor progress verification, quality assurance, risk identification, documentation, and certification processes.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, reporting and stakeholder-management skills.
• High professional integrity, independence and impartiality.
• Ability and willingness to work in Nigeria for the duration of the assignment.
