Roles & Responsibilities

Provide basic nursing care, first aid, and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries.

Assess and monitor student health conditions; administer prescribed medication.

Maintain secure medical records and treatment logs.

Monitor students with chronic conditions and special health needs.

Refer serious cases to hospitals and coordinate followup care.Health Monitoring, Prevention & Education

Conduct routine health checks for students and staff.

Promote hygiene, nutrition, sanitation, and disease prevention.

Provide health education in individual and group settings.

Support immunization followups and public health campaigns.Emergency Response & First Aid

Provide immediate response to medical emergencies.

Coordinate emergency referrals and communication with parents.

Maintain emergency preparedness including first aid kits and isolation protocols.Boarding Health & Welfare Support

Support health care needs of boarding students, including night/oncall support.

Monitor hygiene in dormitories, kitchens, and sanitation facilities.

Work closely with boarding staff on health concerns.Medical Supplies & Administration

Manage the school sickbay/clinic ensuring cleanliness and functionality.

Maintain inventory of (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});medical supplies and equipment.

Recommend procurement and ensure proper storage and usage.

Prepare health reports for school administration.Safeguarding & Professional Conduct

Uphold Child Safeguarding and Protection Policy.

Adhere to Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH).

Maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Report safeguarding or health concerns promptly.Spiritual Care & Values Integration

Qualifications & Experience

Certificate or Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery, or Clinical Medicine.

Valid practicing license from relevant professional council.

2–3 years’ nursing or clinical care experience (school/community setting preferred).

Knowledge of first aid, infection prevention, and emergency response.

No criminal record or history of child abuse/neglect.

Willingness to work in a school and boarding environment.Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a boarding school or youthcentered environment.

Training in first aid, child health, or adolescent health.

Basic ICT skills for recordkeeping and reporting.
