Main Function
The Lash Technician provides professional eyelash extension, lash lift and tinting services that enhance clients’ natural beauty while prioritising eye safety, hygiene, comfort, and a premium spa experience.
Role Responsibilities
Lash Services: Perform classic, hybrid and volume lash extensions, infills, safe removals, lash lifts and tinting within the technician’s training and competence.
Client Consultation: Assess desired looks, natural lash condition, sensitivities and contraindications; explain suitable options and obtain informed consent.
Customised Treatments: Select appropriate lash lengths, curls, weights and styling techniques to achieve flattering results without compromising natural lash health.
Client Education: Explain lash aftercare, maintenance schedules and warning signs of irritation; recommend suitable follow-up appointments.
Hygiene and Safety: Disinfect tools and workstations, use single-use supplies appropriately, follow infection-prevention protocols and handle adhesives safely.
Quality Assurance: Check symmetry, retention and client comfort; address service concerns professionally and escalate adverse reactions promptly.
Record Keeping and Teamwork: Maintain accurate client treatment records, product usage and appointments; collaborate with spa reception and management.
Experience / Qualification
Professional training or certification in eyelash extensions and lash treatments.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Lash Technician in a spa, salon or beauty studio.
Proficiency in classic, hybrid and volume lash application, lash mapping, infills and safe removal; lash lift and tint training is an advantage.

Lash Application Expertise: Strong isolation, placement, mapping and styling skills with careful attention to natural lash health.
Client Care: Ability to consult sensitively, manage expectations and deliver a comfortable, personalised service.
Hygiene Awareness: Sound knowledge of sanitation, adhesive handling, patch-testing protocols where appropriate and eye-area safety.
Dexterity and Precision: Excellent hand–eye coordination, steady hands and attention to symmetry and detail.
Time Management: Ability to complete treatments efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
Behavioural Qualities / Other Competencies:
High level of emotional intelligence, professionalism and discretion when serving clients.
Strong problem-solving ability and calm judgement when responding to client concerns.
Proactive approach to maintaining service quality, hygiene and operational efficiency.

Experience serving high-profile clientele is an advantage.
