Laboratory Technologist[3] - 3 Posts At Public Service Commission Kenya (psck)

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Diploma in any of the following fields:-Applied Sciences (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry), Laboratory or Biotechnology from a recognized institution

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:-

• cleaning and Sterilizing laboratory glassware
• documenting and receiving samples for analysis;
• preparing laboratory reagents;
• preparing and analyzing geological samples, gemstones; and
• disposing Laboratory waste.
