Laboratory Technician: Level 2 (nemlab - Klapmuts)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation, weighing and processing of soil and plant samples for nematode analysis.
• Perform nematode laboratory tests and assist with the execution of nematode trials.
• Conduct nematode extraction, counting and identification in accordance with prescribed testing methods.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, prepare required chemicals and ensure accurate test results.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards, ISO requirements, health and safety regulations and housekeeping procedures.

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate
• At least 2 year experience in laboratory work in similar environment.
