Key Responsibilities Execute functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing. Analyse business requirements, functional specifications and technical documentation to develop effective test scenarios and test cases. Prepare and maintain test scripts, test data and test evidence. Validate integrations between telecom BSS applications and related systems. Identify, log, track and retest defects through to resolution. Perform impact analysis and regression testing following system enhancements, fixes and releases. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, solution architects and other QA team members. Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) and release validation. Provide accurate test execution reports and communicate testing progress, risks and outstanding defects. Ensure compliance with defined testing standards, quality processes and delivery timelines. Minimum Requirements Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester or Test Analyst. Strong hands-on experience in functional, integration and regression testing. Experience preparing test cases, test scenarios, test scripts and test reports. Knowledge of defect management and test management processes. Experience working within Agile/Scrum or other structured software delivery environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Technical Experience Telecommunications industry experience, preferably within BSS environments . Exposure to telecom systems such as CRM, order management, billing, charging, provisioning and customer management. Experience testing integrations between BSS, OSS, APIs and third-party systems. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Zephyr, HP ALM/Quality Center, Azure DevOps or similar. Exposure to API testing using Postman, SoapUI or equivalent tools. Basic SQL knowledge for database validation and backend testing. Experience with test automation tools is advantageous but not essential, as the priority is hands-on testing.
