Emeraid Group is a development and enterprise conglomerate consolidating specialised subsidiaries across advisory, enterprise support, financial structuring, and asset-backed financing. Support in development and enterprise is too often delivered in fragments: training without financing, funding without a plan, programmes that don't outlast their pilot phase. Emeraid Group exists to close that gap.
We bring advisory, capacity building, financial structuring, asset deployment, and technology together as one coordinated system and working end-to-end, from diagnostic to delivery, so that every intervention leads to measurable, lasting outcomes.

Job Title: Knowledge Management & Proposal Development Manager
Location: Abuja, Nigeria Job type: Full-time
About EIG
EIG is developing a lean shared-services platform supporting its businesses and projects in development advisory, enterprise development, renewable energy and related commercial activities.
The appointment must strengthen delivery and institutional resilience without duplicating existing specialist roles.
The Opportunity
Make EIG's verified experience, methods and institutional knowledge reusable, current and secure; turn that evidence into compliant, credible proposals without relying on the CEO as the default writer, editor or document finder.
Core Responsibilities
Manage Group knowledge: Build a secure, searchable repository with consistent naming, version control, document ownership, review dates and clear separation of approved and draft materials.
Maintain verified credentials: Keep project sheets, CVs, references, registrations and policies current and submission-ready, accurately attributing experience, contributions and results to the relevant legal entity.
Coordinate opportunities and bids: Track opportunities, assess eligibility, prepare bid/no-bid recommendations and manage compliance requirements, contributor deadlines and submission records.
Personally develop proposals: Write and edit compelling, evidence-based proposals, concept notes, methodologies and capability statements without relying on the CEO as the default writer.
Ensure quality and timely submission: Coordinate contributors, resolve gaps and align narratives, work plans, staffing and evidence. Obtain CFO approval of financial content and ensure authorised submissions meet requirements and deadlines.
Capture and reuse learning: Convert delivery lessons, methodologies, tools and case studies into approved resources that strengthen bids, implementation and internal learning.
Protect information integrity: Enforce confidentiality, access controls and reuse permissions. Use approved digital and AI tools with source traceability and human verification; never fabricate credentials or expose restricted information.
Improve performance and reduce CEO dependence: Track bid outcomes and recurring weaknesses, implement improvements and own routine editing, document retrieval and follow-up, escalating material decisions with clear recommendations.
Requirements Essential capability and relevant experience:
At least five years of relevant experience in proposal development, consulting, knowledge management, research or donor-funded programming, with evidence of both writing and organised knowledge reuse.
A relevant Degree or an equivalent professional pathway in development, economics, business, information/knowledge management, communications or a related discipline.
A portfolio of proposals or substantial technical writing that may lawfully be shared, plus an example of a repository, evidence library or document-control workflow personally built.
Demonstrated ability to interpret a solicitation, coordinate busy contributors, manage parallel deadlines and identify unsupported or inconsistent claims.
Strong Word, spreadsheet and document-management capability. Able to use structured metadata, version control and access permissions without requiring a large IT implementation.
Development-sector or professional-services procurement experience is desirable. Specialist mastery of every EIG sector, an advanced degree and prior director-level titles are not required.
What success will look like
By day 90, priority credentials and project evidence should be current, a tested repository should be in use, and at least one end-to-end proposal cycle should demonstrate reliable compliance and reduced CEO drafting effort. Knowledge must be retrievable and trustworthy, not merely stored.
