RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with preliminary food preparation and basic kitchen duties.
  • Wash, peel, chop, and prepare fresh ingredients as directed by the chef.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, cookware, crockery, and equipment.
  • Store food ingredients and supplies safely according to proper storage guidelines.
  • Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking kitchen inventory and supplies.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately and maintain a clean, orderly workstation.
  • Support the kitchen team during high-volume peak service periods.
  • Follow workplace safety, food handling, and kitchen hygiene protocols.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Female candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Kitchen Assistant or similar role in a busy kitchen environment
  • Certificate in Food Production, Hospitality, Catering, a related field is an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen hygien practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain pace during busy service shifts.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Hardworking, disciplined, reliable, and willing to learn new culinary tasks.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Age 20-30 years.
