Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise daily administrative operations to ensure smooth hospital functioning.
Monitor hospital expenses and propose costeffective solutions.
Ensure timely followup and processing of utility and other payments.
Ensure hospital compliance with regulatory and statutory laws.
Oversee staffing and optimize supply chain management.
Review and account for claims related to locums, overtime, or outofstation payments.
Coordinate activities with contracted service providers and manage reports.
Act as project manager for construction, renovation, or installation projects.
Develop and implement effective operational policies.
Maintain annual budget plans and forward proposals.
Approve staff leaves, off duties, sick leaves, and absences.
Monitor and review attainment of designated working hours.
Address and resolve staff, stakeholder, and partner queries.
Resolve patient, partner, and merchant issues.
Stay updated with healthcare regulations (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});and ensure compliance.
Supervise, train, and schedule nonclinical and administrative staff; may supervise paraclinical staff when delegated.Custodial Services

Custodian of statutory regulations, licensing documents, premises/property records, service provider contracts, and committee minutes.Signatory Duties
Signatory Duties
Serve as system administrator in the Hospital Records System.
Approve waivers and credit notes up to KES 100,000, subject to endorsement.
Authorize departmental expenditure.
Approve procurement requests (LPOs, LSOs) as per hospital policies.
